Utterly pathetic first half I'm afraid. Never seen as many mistakes in one half.
Sheffield haven't even needed to get out of 2nd gear

There has been a lot to enjoy about the season and, on balance, I would have taken it at the outset, but there has been an alarming tendency to switch off mentally "before the job is done". This has been evident approaching the end of halves, the end of games and now, it seems, some of the players have switched off at the end of the league fixtures. Every second of every game needs focus - that is usually the difference between the good and the great. No-one can win at any sport, team or individual, if they go walkabout. Nothing like finishing the season in a blaze of indifference.
( I would be happy to be proved wrong in the second half, but I just can't see it.)
