Something which clearly Coolie has been used to doing all his pathetic life.

As for equalizor the sarcastic name obviously belies your 9 point defecit against being in the play offs.

Do one.

Disappointing to end the season on our worst performance but nevertheless, I have thoroughly enjoyed this season. We have played well all season and played some decent rugby.
I hope Equalizer remains as positive as he seems today, especially with his comment that they have had a better season than us. Still no doubt he will be back on to tell us all why.
Am now looking forward to next season, and seeing how JK is going to improve our team.

And in fairness it was 50-50 until the last 15 mims. We were well in the game. Today apart from the first 15 we never were.

Still, considering we had a new coach and 17 new players the season has been a success. We've played some good rugby and been competitive in 95% of our games. In fact there's been quite a lot of 'what ifs'...Keighley at home, Sheffield at home, Fax away, Fev at home, plus a strange team selection at Swinton. It could have been so much better.

But JK has now seen the division and the players we have and will be looking to push on next season. With some decent recruitment and the retention of the majority of the current squad I can't see any reason why we can't do that. I would like to see us with more of a natural leader on the pitch though next year as we've missed that IMO this season.

Today was poor but well done to the players for a decent season, and good luck to the ones that are moving on.

Says it all about Dewsbury's season that the best moment for a few of their fans comes from us losing in the play offs. Well done lads.

Pity JK didn't talk to Radio Leeds after the game instead sending a member of the coaching staff out.It would have been interesting to hear his thoughts.
Can't say i'm suprised by the result but certainly the final score.Plenty to work on though and on reflection not a bad season for the dogs, i'm sure you'll be up there again next season.

Work to do in the closed season. Never walk from a game with 20mins to go. It was just 1 handling error too many for me. Cannot still believe what went on nthere today!
Still a good solid season we have had some positive to enjoy and some good players on show. It will be an interesting winter and roll on 2013. Can't believe I saying that after 1 playoff game but hey ho. Just listed to the views on Radio Leeds and tought Danny gave a good idea of how the payers and the staff were feeling. Not sure that Preecemhad listened to the team all given what he said.
Come on the dogs and roll on 26th December.

Think you guys have had a good season.I must admit I thought you would finish higher than fifth. Sheffield at home you might have done it, Sheffield away was always going to be a tough one. Sheffield are a quality side and based on Fax's performance the other night I think they will beat Fax at Fax. I wouldn't be surprised to see another Fev v Eagles final. Anyway see you all Boxing Day.

If you finish higher up and make the play offs you have had a better season than us and that wouldnt be hard.Expectation wisei really thought you might have reached a final.

Coolie - when you talk about rugby you seem to know your stuff, and make articulate and intelligent points.

At other times though you come across as nothing other than a troll.

At last the two Dewsbury trolls come crawling out of their hole. We just need Eddie Rombo and Townie to complete full set. Watch this space.

Today's non-performance was identical to Sheffield away at Bramall Lane for me. All round poor performance, with no idea how to break Sheffield down. Even when camped on their line for 3 sets and still come away with nothing.

All that effort and determination at Halifax last week didn't appear to be evident.

All in all a poor end to what's been a half decent season. Plenty of highs & lows. Although i was disappointed to see fans leave 20 mins before the end. I mean come on guys, it's a long off season at least clap the lads off for thier efforts for the season.

Hard lines Batley. I had a feeling this might be "your year", particularly after Fax's poor performance against Keighley, and was quite surprised to hear today's result.

I'd be excited about what you can achieve next season now JK has a foundation to build on. Hopefully Glenn can emulate his achievements in his first year at the Rams.

Already looking forward to Boxing Day: the teacher vs the student

Don't take it to heart, BSJ. Clearly your exclusion from the troll collective was intended as a compliment. We acknowledge that even within the ranks of the Rams fans there are distinctions to be made when it comes to intellect and malicious intent.

Think a lot of stuff on here is taking credit away from sheffield - they really can be a quality side capable of beating anybody in the division. Losing away to them isn't a disgrace, and I'll bet they'll beat better sides than batley in the playoffs. Roll on BD
