Many congrats. Sounded like a cracking game on RC. Good luck next week and on form you should be playing us in a fortnight.

We battle and battle and that's a great asset , but that was a real struggle .Our fitness is proving a massive factor but lots to work on.

Well done Town a win in the face of adversity today , Oldham are a good team but they dont half wind you up with their lying on tactics.Mr Hewer left a hell of a lot be desired today

They were over physical ( dirty ) to say the least . Hewer just gave them endless warnings. They were totally shot in the second half but we just looked like we weren't gonna be good enough to take advantage. We all know about the halves scenario , we just looked rudderless and lacking that general to calm us and provide direction . We got through though and at least you get an opportunity to work on things which at this stage of the season is all you want . You gotta be in it to win it

Home advantage is always a plus , and Petersen will be back , but they'll fancy it make no mistake . Matty is gone for the season . And that Miller effort was the best solo try I've seen down here since Lusi . That was a tiny gap he went through and that was Miles Greenwood he burned. Class act

Great come back and some very good tries but we are going to have to cut out errors and sloppy passing. At times we were a shadow of the team we were earlier in the season however as i say great comeback when we had put ourselves up against it through sloppy passing and errors.

Oldham were just so much quicker at everything they done in attack than we were and made a hell of a lot more meters. I thought when they went over with 10 to go then that was curtains, but to come back showed true heart and determination. I hope matty is ok but from the way he was holding his arm and the ambulance coming in at half time I would say it's a break or dislocation. I don't think we can pick out individuals because we were pretty poor but in the 2nd half Brett carter pick his game up and was probably my pick of the bunch. Can we please drop Mark calderwood though, he is bloody hopeless and a total liability in defence.

Walshy n Charlo mentioned the passing . It just slows everything down . Forbers passing in particular is gonna overload the local hospitals. Poor old Calderwood , he can't defuse the bomb and they won't pass to him in attack !! Crarey made some fantastic points about not being able to move the ball to the right and playing with one ( average ) half who just moves it left while Carter is a runner .Could listen to that bloke for ages. But we don't give in which is huge . We're really fit and we keep trying . You never see our heads drop. If we could only cut out the sloppiness , but poor Charlo says that every week !

I've had a rethink on Carter to . I think we've seen he's an out n out fullback. He's a runner who's chiming into the line and elusiveness in bringing it back are priceless .

I had to listen on the radio today and have to say that Paul Crarey talks a lot of sense about the game. He was firmly of the opinion that Brett Carter shouldn't be at stand off and that Forber needs to look both ways when in possession. The amount of times that Crarey said "if Town go right quickly they'll score here, they've a 2 man overlap...oh he's gone to the left again..." was ridiculous. He also called it right about bringing Big Ginge on, saying that the Oldham props were dominant and we needed Ginge on to meet them with some aggression, which seemed to work. He was also saying how he didn't like the way we play so narrow down the middle when we are a team that looks best moving the ball wide and have some great running forwards out wide in Stack and Phillips, but kind of attributed that to Forber's lack of creativity and ability to move the ball quickly.

Anyway, a wins a win however its achieved and we live to fight another day. Won't be easy next week as them lot have their tails up now and on current form I'd make them slight favourites for the game.

It's easy to pick out faults stood on the sideline though, bit harder in the thick of the action.

Dave will probably play 6 next week with Brett in his proper position . Miller back to the wing and try to get the ball moving faster out wide to get Calders into the game. And start kicking to him to get him running. So many times he was standing on his own and they ignored him! I'd still go with him. They need to give him more to work with. I still think he can finish a chance alright but his mates need to play to him

Yes , all that comes from the halves on the pitch but we've done that to death.
