Take a look at todays League Express, it states that those names you have mentioned are in the frame and the applicants will be interviewed this week.
Hopefully, we shall soon get some news of our new head coach for the coming season.

Wonder if Chris Hamilton will be in the next room as two of those names have also been linked to us at some stage. Perhaps both clubs can save a bit of money and do the interviews together . Heh heh heh.

According to League Express as well as Matt Calland, Holroyd, Chris Hough. Other names like Scott Naylor & Ged Corcoran where mentioned as being on the shortlist.
Personally i would like to see Matt in charge if not Scott Naylor (wages agreed) would be good choice, hes been at top SL clubs & around the Lancs & GB set ups, hopefully he could attract a few players? But we all know its very different at this level, with no budget, players without the ability of SL players and having to roll your slevees up and organising various team dealings.I personally Still feel Houghy, Holroyd & Ged havent got the experience or pulling power to attract players at this level.

Gunna throw my hat in here!
Ged Corcaran
I disagree with matt, attracting players,
I think Geds been in the game long enough,
With Sheffield and Ireland
He's always kept in with the game,
Wether it's with internationals or your Saturday afternoon lads,
Naylor was always going to Oldham'
For me it's Ged or give Houghy a chance'
Could Ged and Houghy not work together'
Perfect sinario'
But I guess it's wages then'

Not knocking Hornets here, but, with both you and us (Oldham) having to wait a few weeks for the announcement of a new coach, it makes you wonder if, somehow, there's some link between the two clubs. With some of the applicants being interviewed by both clubs, could it be that the same coach was offered the head coach position at both clubs, and, whichever one he plumped for, the other club would have to offer their post to the second choice. And that doesn't mean we got first choice with Scott Naylor, maybe it's just that our official announcement came before yours. Then again, it could be that the timing of all this is pure coincidence. We'll probably never find out.

The thing is with Naylor,
He was going to Oldham about 2 week ago.
Not sure what the wait for the announcement was?

Bobby would be a great choice of coach, he gets average players winning and gets them playing full of enthusiasm
