The odd thing being that Dalgleish didn't play in the era when players had their names on their backs.

Liverpool is the only place where I've witnessed this phenomenon. It's downright bizarre.

I was in a shop near Headingley Stadium last week and there was a bloke in there, must have been at least 50, wearing matching Leeds Rhinos shirt and shorts. He was without socks so doesn't qualify as full kit W*****, but instead of the socks he sported a HUGE Rhinos tattoo on his calf.

I kid you not.

I was going to ask him if he fancied Leeds' chances in the play offs, but quickly decided he was probably a bit bonkers so I decided against it.

I think adults wearing any kind of repica kit is highly uncool.

Probably a generational thing.

Yes some generations understand style, others don't . I feel very fortunate.
I don't mind it on kids, but grown ups?

Is that because you haven't the necessary big beer gut to stretch the shirt really tight for the full middle aged man in acrylic replica shirt sophisicated look? :D

You'll probably find that, had he not got the tattoo, he'd most certainly have been a full kit wa*ker.

Yes I know they can and unlike the people on here mocking those who are wearing what they like: I don't have a problem with it.
The thing is I've got taste and style and wouldn't be seen dead in that stuff; a pair of well made made brogues, sturdy corduroys, cashmere sweater in winter: with chinos, deck shoes and a well pressed linen shirt in summer my attire of choice.
I these things matter don't you?

That's as maybe, but the club would miss out on merchandise sales if adults stopped wearing them. ;)

Too right.

Galliano, Makro, Arco. I patronise two of these designer labels.
