I'm happy to admit I'm not one of them. I am human. I made, and will probably continue to make, errors of judgement. Some of them will be brought abut by external factors, some will be entirely of my own doing.

it is obvious from reading this thread that many who post on here have lead a blameless and totally error free life.

Getting caught drink driving once can be tagged as stupidity that might never be repeated, getting caught a second time says far, far more about someone. And that's just the times caught.

I have done things wrong and once punished never done those things again - do you see?
I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try
Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen
The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

I'd guess that nobody thinks that at all.it is obvious from reading this thread that many who post on here have lead a blameless and totally error free life.

drinking nd driving isn't 'an error of judgement' it's s crime that oftenhas tragic consequences for innocent people. In this case the guilty party bears the consequences: surely that's a good thing.
If somebody has too much to drink and hits somebody in the face with a glass is that n 'error of judgement'?

Nonsense.
Kenny supports Castleford for example.

I agree. This is very good advice and my experience working for the NHS is that good strong protocols and policies are in place and I have confidence this is what will happen. I hope I am proved right.Bleep certainly isn't the only medical professional to need a drink now and again.
My advice would be for him to, if possible, get a trusted senior medical professional to speak on his behalf at the hearing.
Bleep knows he's got a problem and he's probably best volunteering to take a suspension from his supervisory medical / theatre role till he's sorted it out. By and large, the NHS won't want to lose his skills permanently and might be able to simultaneously offer him a period of admin-type responsibilities and a recovery programme.

My Prf Solicitor wants to have it heard as a mental health issue (Cue Pinks fans saying we always knew you were mental),
I think I may do time inside which will mean I will miss my daughters 4th birthday & Christmas - but there will be others.
I have been offered a detox plan through my councillor, but it may be superceeded by one at Her Majesty's Pleasure.
I would like to thank the posters who have sent me PM's, both good & bad. I won't tell.
I still feel like 5h1t, although , given I will lose a job I have become more & more dissillousend (fed up) with, I know feel as though I am being told to clear the boards for a new, undeterminable start.
Welcome to the new world Bleep1673!
(I still won't be supporting Salford though)

But the responsibility for that is yours alone and you have the consequences coming if you get behind the wheel of a vehicle when you have been drinking...at least there is only you facing the consequences for that: it could have been far sorse

Don't beat yourself up for missing your daughters birthday I missed my eldest daughters 5th birthday (The one who fights) she is now 25 and loves me to death, I've also missed a christmas while being in HM Pleasure which didn't hurt, just keep your head down and do the time.I've had my professional hearing put back, until they hear the results of the court case.

There have been some very nasty buggers on this board over the years who have no second thoughts about sending vicious and nasty PMs to those who can least afford to read them. Why would you send someone a nasty pm about something like this?

Some people like to kick people when they're down.....no need....however, it may be the case that those concerned have lost loved ones as innocent victims of drinkdriving accidents?.....that would be the only reason i could think of regarding the motivation for such actions

Are pm's regularly used on this board? For all the time I've been on here I may have sent half a dozen pm's, usually when discussing someone's real name or personal details. If you want to say something to someone, have the balls to say it out in the open where everyone else can read it.
In my experience PMs are usually of a friendly nature for more personal discussions.

I use it for rugby league discussion when I'm not sure if I should put it on the forum but never sent an abusive one that I can remember. Are pm's regularly used on this board?
