Get your community hours sorted down at your local amateur rugby league club, I've taken a few lads on painting posts, cutting grass & even coaching.

If there was an ARLC round here I would do, this is East, East Sussex

Hindle XIII, sorry mate, yes I am now back on here

L'Ang, one of the concerns were that I continue to address my problems, & I intend to

Walford 6, That's the hardest part, may bosses & the HCPC (Nice Understanding people, as Walford6 tells me)

Congrats to you Bleep. Take the driving ban on the chin and try and save your career. You know you are a good bloke; convince your bosses. :)

Congrats???

Are you serious?
Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.

I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try

Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

Of course, Bleep could have got sent down. While that would have been correct if he had had an accident when driving, he didn't. Presumably, the magistrates or judge also thought he was fundamentally a decent bloke with a family to provide for and deserved another chance.

Sorry if the verdict offends your principles. Unfortunately, I won't be able to join you and l'Angelo at next week's meeting of the Holier Than Thou Society.

Absolutely agree, unbelievable.

You are congratulating him for avoiding imprisonment when he's an habitual driving offender who, by pure luck, hasn't been involved in a serious accident or seriously injured or killed someone whilst banned from driving, not insured, or not under the drink drive limit?

And being a "decent family man with family to provide for" surely should tell you not to drive when banned, not insured or drunk, I would say.
Remarkable.

I'm congratulating Bleep for managing to persuade the bench to give him another chance. No doubt it will be his last chance.

With regard to driving uninsured when drunk ... well obviously it's inexcusable. However, from personal experience, it's only when drunk that you consider doing such reckless and daft things. Bleep's need is to kick the drink; everything else will click into place. His family needs him to stay sober and will help him.

Suppose he had been sent down. He'd have lost his job and career ... the rest of us would pay out a fortune in state benefits to his family and put incredible stress on his marriage. For what gain? It would probably make it twice as hard to kick his drinking problem.

The longest journey starts with a single step. I say, give Bleep a break.

That's your opinion.

It may be a different opinion had he killed a member of your family while drunk, uninsured, not having a valid licence or all three.

It's only a matter of good fortune that he didn't.

Still, give him a break, eh?

<Unnecessarily soft bit deleted>

I'd be interested to see how Wolford would react if Bleep was a 'Moslem' driving insured around the streets of Bradford. I suspect 'hanging' or 'back on the boat' would be in order, not congratulations. I personally hope Bleep works his way through whatever his problems are and that the fact he could have gone to prison will provide enough of a shock to ensure he never does anything like this again. Drink-driving is an abhorrent thing to do and it only takes one such 'mistake' to kill someone.

Astute analysis from a Wigan fan:

Rumour going around Headingley that Wire will have to play the second half with 12 men.

It seems that they forgot to bring the half time oranges, and Solomona ate Chris Bridge instead.

Don't know why he was hungry, as he looked as though he had eaten the whole youth team before the game started.

In Bradford, we have literally thousands of Moslems driving day in day out without insurance, and many with no driving licence either. Nothing gets done about it unless they are involved in an accident. I think they should all be prosecuted (easily done in most cases as the cars are parked on terraced streets every night) but I don't advocate jail unless they are involved in an accident.

Bleep's case was different in that he did not have a car or regularly drive. He "borrowed" a works car when over the limit.

With regard to Bradford's Moslem population, I certainly don't advocate that they should be persecuted. I just want the statutory authorities to
- accord the Moslems the same treatment as every other group within the city.
- publicly admit there are problems of lawlessness, poor academic achievement, disability through inbreeding, forced marriage etc and confront the Moslem community to address these issues.
- publicly declare the academic, employment, benefit-income profiles of all the ethnic groups in the Authority Area. Those groupings are declared on submissions to the Bradford MC election registry, school registers.

Obviously, that's not to happen anytime soon.

When I came to Bradford it used to be known as a destination city, nowadays it's just regarded by outsiders as England's biggest basket case.

I'll always stand up for Bradford but now its a dump mostly (not all of it)

Things can change however, as anyone who was in Liverpool in the 1980's will know. If that place can turn around, so can Bradford.

Edit, just read the Acropolis cafe is closing down....it's worse than I thought.

Maybe this is the point Bleep finally gets to resolve his issues. It might be worth considering some community service with people affected by alcohol. Give you an insight in to what your daughter faces if you can't resolve it.

drink driving is lawlessness: one of the most dangerous kinds. Do muslim drink drivets get off with lightyer punishments? Why is borrowed in inverted commas? It makes no difference whether he regularly drives or has a car of his own. How do you arrive at that conclusion?

I think the punishment doies nothing to address the offence other than to get him off the road-unless he decides otherwise, for a while.

Even better news, there is to be a Muslim demonstration against some film or other in Bradford on Friday. Possibly the most pointless demonstration imaginable about something produced thousands of miles away that has resulted in deaths already around the world. What the bleeding eff is the point of this ######?

You had better sort your problems out. My daughter and son in law and eldest granddaughter live in Hastings and they should not be put in danger by your re offending. So...no more drinking EVER , join AA now and follow Marauders advice....even a union club or soccer club! Maybe get a "buddy" on here who can keep an eye on you by PM.
