Fantastic news. Still waiting on him having a bad game. Probably gets taken for granted these days as he receives less plaudits than the likes of phillips and thacks but the guy is immense. And 2 years, at least it will stop us panicking again next year.

Yes all efforts on them . They're priceless to us . Carter and Miller have been our whole backline attacking thrust and Matty is just Matty ...

Brilliant news and big thanks to Jarred for committing to Town for the next 2 years, I'm sure the lad won't have been short of offers to move elsewhere. Also, well done to the BOD for securing his signature.

Would like to see the likes of mossop, coward and forber also signed up. Mossop gives everything he's got and is top in defence, although I would like to see him get a run on the wing. Coward is always improving and we need his size and strength. And I know forber has his critics but over the last few months he's really stepped up his game and I think he's very underrated, he's been the one who's been available all year, with many different partners and gets on with it. He's certainly won me over this season.

Mossop is definitely the next of the rest . Hes had a big season , week in week out he's consistent . He's as hard as nails , hits like a mule and takes the hard yards . He's made of granite that bloke , and he's added some attacking strike in his game this year.Coward has all the attributes of a fine championship prop , I just think at times he needs to have more belief in his own game.He seems a confidence player but he should have no worries stepping up. He's been great for us .Id like JP here to . Injury free and fit I've always thought he has all the attributes to be anything he wants to be. Big strong centre who can run through you or round you at his best. BOD know the craic they're doing great for the club.

Really?! I have to admit that I'm one of those who underate him. Imo he doesn't play anywhere near the level he could and should. To have a player in the Championship who rarely passes to one side of the pitch is surely a mistake. His kicking is the only thing that redeems his game and that is a bit inconsistant. I'm trying not to be too harsh on the lad as I really want him to be better than he is as the potential shows up every now and again. But what you can get away with in this league is different to the league above. I would rather we signed a young lad from the amateur game and should injuries occur then give him the chance to step up. Like I say if we do re-sign him as back up I hope he proves me wrong and I will be happy if he does.
The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!

I think with a more controlling partner Carl would do us a good job. As I say he's had no consistent partner but he's been there all year. I'm not saying he should be a shoe in starter(hopefully we can get Phillips and brockelbank for the starters), but is more than handy enough for a good member of the squad. His defence has also improved massively this year.

Great news about JS well done B.O.D. As for forber he would make a decent squad player but in the championship we need more creativity in the halves or we will suffer.

As someone who watches a bit of amateur rugby Town should be breaking the bank for Sam Forrester Karl Dixon and Ben Milburn. The latter two will be a top class 6 and 13 combination

If they're all so awful how do we keep beating them ? Agreed about mining the amateur seams , got to be the way for us up here . Coupled to some class outside talent that's a good mix.
