No P & R from championship in 2013
Relegation was suspended from the championship this season to permit the increase in the number of teams in the division for next season. Back to normal next season.

The following message appears from somebody on Haven Forum. I think this is a Raiders fan. Probably another rumour.
Think you'll find we are announcing a multiple signing this week which includes both liams and 2 of your players one of which has took Andy Braceks development officers job, we would love to sign Brett carter but he has turned us down cause we can't offer him the deal he is signing with Town
You'll be well angry with the player we've signed from you along with wiper
Development officers job? What is that,
I don't recall Andy Bracek doing any development work? Although I could be wrong?

He was also contracted to apply sports development in Ulverston Victoria School..This included primary schools in the ulverston area. From all reports he was very good at it.

I stand corrected and apologise, although it would have been nice to him around most schools, not just contracted to a few.

If Haven have such a great team why is it they always seem to be trying to sign "rubbish" players from Town and Barrow????
I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

What a prize idiot.....Worry about Town...the only reason you have had a team for a few year is you looted Barrow and Haven because you can't bring your own players through

It must be hurting you to have been whitewashed by Town this year.
T'is you that is a prize idiot.... Haven are a joke, the worst "professional" team in Cumbria. And how many ex-Town and ex-Barrow players do Haven have? I'll give you a start - Wilson, Beattie and Sice. are ex-Town players...

No, the prize idiots are the people on the Haven forum who keep saying that the Town players and the Barrow players are rubbish, which is what I was getting at but obviously that was above your head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
