Not sure about who or what has happened playerwise at the moment but much work is ongoing on the player front and i know glenn is looking for a squad of good quality young lads with a mix of experience . I have heard some names mentioned but its premature to name them at the moment .
No doubt some of the current squad will be moving on .

Tebbys Twitter says " Glad to be a ram again for another year hopefully carry on my end of season form through to next year and have a big year "
Glad hes been retained and signed, a good prospect. Very lively hooker.

Imsure when Tom gets chance hel update us all. Im pretty sure wel have afew of the current squad retained although rumour as it that Patch(Sheffield) and Austin(Whitehaven) may be leaving.
Dont worry though because with the SL unders 20s/reserve league getting scrapped, and Glenn being the Wakefield second team coach imsure hel have afew good young signings on the way once the season is over, as hel know plenty about the young lads at that level from all the clubs. On top of this plenty players will be getting released. 16 in fact from just the Bulls alone and Glenns well respected in the game! Players will want to play for him.
Glenn will have good contacts so imsure wel have a decent team next season, even though our squad currently stands at just James Craven V The Championship

Yes, a player that wasn't at the club in 2012, that is.

So he's a new signing, but he could maybe be a old player from the past ?? I love this time of the year, when we are getting players signed up for the next campaign.

He is completely new to the club. He hasn't played for us before.

I can tell you that up to about 3.00pm today interviews have taken place with about 10 players , some current and some prospective and more are to take place tonight . I actually sat in on one talk with one of our more established players and i was quite suprised by his desire to stay at Dewsbury considering his circumstances . There is a new freshness of attitude amongst our players to my mind .
It is also aparrent that i am going to have to redouble efforts with our squadbuilder as until you witness these player negotiations first hand you do not realise what a difference a few quid makes . One player i am aware of who i would like us to sign is just wanting £800 more than the budget will allow for him and such as squadbuilder could try to raise the money independently to secure him . I am going to try this year to raise an extra £4000 by whatever means and i could do with some help . if anybody fancies giving it a go with forming a new squadbuilder / supporters fundraising group/ committee let me know , no sensible age bar as far as im concerned .

What about sending out squadbuilder forms to all those on the contact list? I dont contribute as yet and havent seen the relevant forms around at things like the fans forum. If I was sent one I would sign up.I can tell you that up to about 3.00pm today interviews have taken place with about 10 players , some current and some prospective and more are to take place tonight .
