can some one from the club please clarify something for me.i dont want to stir over old ground but when the leeds partnership was announced i was worried about leeds players been called back at the drop of a hat and was told by many people that these loans would be season long loans and with that i was fine.in tonights evening post there is a piece on leeds rhino's and a quote from garry hetherington states that leeds have a squad of 25 players signed for next season and that includes the ones been loaned to hunslet.i am worried again now as surely that doesnt leave much room for injuries and suspensions as teams take an 18 man squad to games.so can it be clarified that these are season long loans as i cant see that happening now after reading that tonight.
cheers

I can't comment for the club but I would say two things. 1) if they are good enough for rhinos 25 then we will be getting some top drawer players which is great news, and 2) I think it will be the players who are less likely to be required for the first team and therefore less likely to be called back. However there will always be that risk if the rhinos have a massive injury list. Unlikely that they will get 5 or 6 injuries and need all the players back but there is an outside chance.

Kev, nothing has changed as far as the club is concerned, the players we get will be on season long loan deals, im pretty sure that there will be stipulations to that, so if Leeds do have an injury crisis, and they want to recall players to cover there own team, then they could, but that is highly unlikely as the players we get will be on the fringes and wont be seen as first team regulars. The loan system works in that way across all sports. I'm 99% confident that this scenario wouldn't happen and if it did i dont think it would affect us as a squad or a club, we already have 21 players signed and contracted to Hunslet Hawks, so if the worst case scenario happened and Leeds recalled a couple of players for a month or for a longer period then we would have enough cover within our own squad to fill any gaps left.

We have a good dea off who they will be, but once Leeds have finished their season, Barry & Daz will be sitting down with Barry McDermott & Brian McDermott to finalise everything.
