Of course mate, Our biggest crowd of last season by a mile, and a real great way of building relationships with the two local amateur clubs and bringing the whole community of South Leeds together.

We will have to get a bigger hat Billy for the collection,Queens brought a few over aswell,a good hard fought game...to say Queens were struggleing for a team, most of the team were there (Milner,Ail) were missing, they've also signed Nick Staveley, but was'nt playing yesterday,we were told that Milners taking a year out to play f'ball........good look with the Stanningley game next week..........Blackbeard good win and a very good crowd hope the pitch side collection made the Old Boy,s a few quid.

Yeh the leagues very strong this year, they'd av done well with last seasons team tho,........I was talking to Steve Morton at the start of the season and he told me that he'd packed it in,but the "Flashing Blade" was playing against us on sat..........

dont know how old he is Steve but he has great vision in attack hes quiet a big unit so not your usual nippy scrum half.Have watched him on occasions when Sharlston have played Queen and he has been the difference when queens have won not a lover of queens over the years due to some bad injuries caused by their thuggery but when they have their rugby heads on they can be a force and Milner was deffo their leader but im sure Rich can give you more info than me.

He's a very good player Steve but the step up to Championship rugby maybe a big ask, like Col said very good kicker of the ball from hand and goal kicking duties and can direct play around the field........James Brown who plays prop/centre for Queens ,York are looking at him and he could av signed for Wigan a few years back..........the thing with top amateur to Championship clubs is commitment, and a lot of amateur lads love the crac with there mates and having a good drink ,sometimes the night before the game and most deffo after the game..........I think Milner will play again this year even tho he said he's taken a year out........Would Milner hack it in the pro game col/rich do you think? Ive never seen the kid but read plenty about him.Could he play scrum half alongside Grimmer and whats his goalkicking like?
