Sorry, but as nice a lad as Tebb is, if we need to survive relegation much better players are required.

That's 2 hookers and one full back we have now. I'm sure Tebb and Wright will play their hearts out for the club, and Craven is a class act and top retaining signing. Although its early days like you alienboy would be nice to see a 2 or 3quality signings especially in a key role such as scrum half or stand off. An experienced forward with a couple of years of good rugby left in him to lead the pack wouldn't go a miss, especially if we can hold on to the likes of Nicholson

I'm not knocking Glenn, but just hope it doesn't become an "old boys club" best example I can think of is Keighley. Some experienced names there, all following JD. OK they finished clearly above us on points but players of the caliber they have didn't set the league on fire.

We all want to see the best players that we can afford being signed and need to show a little patience as we have begun a little on the back foot due to the lack of earlier signings. However, given the ages of the three players signed so far, being worried about an "old boys club" might be just a little premature.

I wouldnt worry. Its early days. The season asnt officialy finished yet and from what iv heard Glenns wanting a SL stand off aswel as SL quality players. Things take time but imsure in the next few weeks wel start to see a decent squad coming together. I know Glenns been in talks with plenty of players over the last few days and iv heard they could be afew more signings announced today. Imsure Tom will keep us all informed as soon as hes given the green light.

Why the panic? We have details of 3 signed out of an agreed squad of 23 to 25.

Over the next few days / weeks I am sure further signings will be announced.

The Coach has indicated that the squad will be a mixture of Experienced Players and Young Players with potential,
so let's wait and see and give a balanced opinion when the squad is in place.

I am confident we will not be disappointed.

Hell fire I make one comment and I'm in a panic! Just agreeing with alienboy about having some experience on the park to bring on youthful enthusiasm. Also that I'm unfamiliar with Glenn's coaching career.
Calm down.

Don't worry MF, most of us aren't the sort who are likely to get over-excited, although WR's statement that we are unlikely to be disappointed next season will be quite worrying for some of us. Disappointment is the oxygen of RL fans, surely?
