Sunday will be most likely a few of the lads final game at derwent park. The likes of gus, ginge and whitehead will more than likely hang there boots up(again) at the end of the year. These 3 players have all done great service to the game and to town, so let's get as many folk down and give these lads the send off they all deserve. And a big thank you for all the efforts over the years

Last home game of the season deserves a big crowd to give recognition and thanks to the whole squad for their efforts in getting our club out of this league and for giving us all the chance to see better quality stuff next year. And for all the effort they've put in the last 8 months.

yes daves commitment has been excellent given the distance the lad regularly travels to play for town. Thanks dave ! Big thanks to neil and ryan too.

Yeah daves commitment has been great, but let's keep fingers crossed it's not the last we've seen of him. Maybe we can tempt him back up next season on loan or dual reg.

You only have 11 players starting and no half backs. Somehow I don't think that team would win, also Morris can't play

I was thinking we would be so understrength that we would struggle against Haven until I started looking at both teams. Haven's team is mostly players who have taken part in the four previous matches so why should we be afraid of them. It is down to what our lads put in as to what we get out of the match. If we defend like we did in the early part of the season we will win because we know we can score points. The only newcomers at Haven are Palfrey, who we have met before and if his performance at full-back at London is anything to go by he is a revolving door, and Hemingway who hasn't exactly set the world on fire!!!! So, with the right support tomorrow we will win. Let's do it.
I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

it states in the paper the only change is cotter in for matty.

Keith your bang on, even with our players missing we still have the better side. How many of havens players would get in towns side? 2 or 3. Whereas stack,Phillips, thacks, coward, olstrum, annakin, carter and miller would walk into there's

Town's fitness will probably show as well, Haven will tire out.

Well if that's the case then the element of surprise has just been ruined by some fool who would rather give an exclusive than keep something to himself for the better of the club.

And if that is the case then well done Abu
