And that's all that Whitehaven would have unless someone knew something other than that and chose to put it in the public domain

Yeah I think if you choose to go and watch the lads train then you shouldn't splash the tactics and selection on here. I would of been content with the team we all thought and was printed then everything else would be a bonus.

There was obviously a reason it wasn't released to the paper but at least it gives haven the opportunity to plan incase it does happen

I agree with Keith . Their team has no surprises and no terrors. There's nothing there to be frightened of . Forget them , if we're on our game and minimise the sloppy spells , there's only one winner . It's all about us , if both teams play to their potential we win . Just got to deliver on the day . I like the idea of keeping teams under wraps to until game day if there's any surprises planned.Take any advantage.

I've just watched Saints completely outplay Warrington mainly by their defensive play. They were forever in Warrington's faces and never allowed them to play to the point that they became frustrated and tried silly plays, lost the ball and Saints confidence grew and grew. That is the type of defence I hope to see tomorrow from Town.

Defence wins titles . Also so important to get in front and play from infront . You control the game and everyone settles . In elimination footy it's easy to panic and lose your shape n structure if your playing catch up. See even at the top level over n over again what happens when your chasing points.

Its Workington Town guys not the secret service! We have beat haven four teams lets make it five if they know who we are playing and how we are playing doesnt matter, all that does is can they stop us, and if we play well no matter what they do the answer should be no!!

I'd be amazed if Morris is playing for us tomorrow because Salford U20's play their Valvoline Cup semi-final against Wigan tomorrow afternoon.

if you listen to what some haven fans are saying, it's a waste of time us turning up today, there only going to be one winner and it isn't us !!
Where they get this super confidence from beats me. Okay we are going into the game without two of our star players and they have McAvoy back, so maybe it does give them a bit of an advantage, but we will still be fielding the bulk of the team that has beaten them four times this season.
I have seen haven six times this season, four times live and twice on the telly, and they only put in one decent performance which was the last time we played them. Let's not forget that these world beaters are the same team that Skolars were strolling through a couple of weeks ago, the same team that were getting a dogging from the fans, john Cox and the BOD.
Maybe it will be their turn to win today, who knows, but if we manage to beat them for the fifth time without some of our top players it will be all the more satisfying. Let's just hope we give everything we have, players and supporters alike. I hope some of the fans who have gone walkabouts recently get themselves down to DP and get behind a team that have been fantastic for the majority of the season.
Looking at our crowds and havens this season you start to wonder if West Cumbria has the appetite for a better class of RL next season.

Someone needs to remind them that the great McAvoy played in games this season where we battered them, didnt seem to help them then.

Hope the rain doesn't spoil it after all this! If it stays like this it will be even more of a lottery who wins.
They are all supposed to be congregating at the Town end today - ah shame it must be too noisy on the pop side for them, they like it nice and quiet when they watch a game don't they. Quiet and wet at the Town end today then!!

The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!

If they choose to stand at the Town end it will let them see what it has been like for Town fans standing on the open side at Haven for years!!!!!

The forecast is for the rain to pass by about 1pm and then it will brighten up with only an occasional shower. As I type it seems to be getting brighter and rain is moving away south-east. It's been steady rain most of the morning with a gap of about an hour when it eased off. The winners would not want the match being postponed and then have to play midweek with another game next Sunday, so hopefully the pitch isn't too bad.
