I wonder if this will become the norm? In which direction will we go, I wonder?

Dual registration should be outlawed imo. The line between Championship 1, Championship and Super League is blurred beyond recognition now. Up to six players can be fielded, what a joke, that's a third of the team obviously giving that club a huge advantage over other clubs who don't have a tie in with a Super League club! It's the RFL again trying to put a quick fix so SL's kids have somewhere to play after abandoning the U20's for the coming season imo!

Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth

Mal Mauler would you refuse a join up / duel registration with St Helens?

I would, as I said the problem is young players of Championship 1 standard would obviously get their noses pushed out in favour of these feeder U20's and Dual reg players. A club has to grow through it's own strength and depth, not in a quick fix or false one imo!

100% agree, we had several dual reg last season, minute they performed well the parent club recalled them sometimes at 1 days notice.

As well as outlawing the duel registration system, lets go the whole hog and limit the overseas quotas for the whole of the rugby league to, say, just a couple of players. This quick fix situation is ruining many sports as well as our own great game.
RUGBY LEAGUE WITHOUT ROCHDALE HORNETS IS LIKE AN UNSHARPENED PENCIL, THERES NO POINT?

I think the dual registration system is a good one, 6 players though is too many. These dual registered players are not going to be dummies, theyll have been signed on by the bigger clubs for a reason plus they will offer an insight into the successful systems used at the club.
Professional teams need to be a lot more representative of local talent. There should be a requirement for percentage of any squad to have local origins, through either their amateur club or residence.

Do dual registered players have to be paid the same money as they are on at the parent club?
Or are their wages negotiated.
