From what I hear Bretherton never wanted to leave the Rams, so a return to the Rams could be due very soon.
Just because he didn't want to leave in the first place, doesn't mean that he hasn't now 'seen the light'.
Surely he wouldn't want to go back to the 'dark place'.
I agree his form has dipped a little this year, but would love him to stay.

The word going around earlier this year was that he and JK didn't see eye to eye, so maybe a change would be good for all parties. Having said that I am often dubious of the wisdom of going back anywhere - too many expectations to leave unfulfilled. maybe 'Fax or York will be a wiser move.

Jowitt leaving and Dewsbury probably offering better contracts than a couple of seasons ago maybe behind Bretherton's possible return to Dewsbury. From what I hear Bretherton never wanted to leave the Rams, so a return to the Rams could be due very soon.
A solid player who Batley should look to keep to cover for injuries in the second row and centre. If Batley are to challenge the top four teams in the Championship the second row is one position Batley need to strengthen and with Super League teams not running under 20's teams there should be second rowers available who can stengthen the Batley second row and replace Bretherton if required.

Agreed Harold he has gone missing in a lot of games this season cant remember last time he broke the line ie. Sheffield in the play offs . Did he play ??I'll probably get slapped down and accused of being bitter at him possibly leaving by making this judgement, but he's not been great this season. In an attacking sense, he's been pretty ineffective. If he does leave, I won't be going into mourning.
