You have to be confident or you get nowhere in life we was confident of beating you yesterday but it did not quite happen thought your lads were the better team in first half and we got it back to within 2 points had we had our goal kicker the outcome would have been different it's all ifs and buts but never mind I enjoyed the game I will follow you in the final if we fail to win cos you like us have done it within budget unlike worky yes we got cooky but the squadbuilder fund pays a large part of his money anyway allthe best

What are you going on about? I think you will find Town have kept within budget like they have in most other seasons when they have posted a profit, unlike most other clubs.

What a load of tosh, what do you know about Towns finances ? They are probably the most prudent club in our division when it comes to keeping the books balanced. We spent a lot of years in adminisration after our Super League overspending, they were tough years for the club, this BOD took us out of administration and certainly won't let it happen again.
Just remind us olddon.......how many times in recent years have your lot gone bust and took the easy way out of forming a new club with the slate wiped clean, just like our friends down the road ? Donny are the biggest boom and bust club in the whole of RL.

looking forward to sunday- will be without paul cooke after in my opinion intentionally taken out in the first minute- obviously holtys game plan and worked well but game is tough enough without targetting to cause injuries. However, must say that your fans were fantastic!
as for issue over champions / league leaders- typical rfl ineptitude- understand other divisions operate system of grand final winners are champions but championship 1 at start of season did not have play offs planned and rfl had stated league leaders would be champions, only to change this 2 days after league season finished!! rfl couldn't organise john smiths christmas party!! no wonder support for game overall, and numbers playing is dwindling!!
Anyway, congrats on making final and heres to a great game- hopefully the dons can win to put end to argument of champions/ league leaders!!
Irrespective of score, both teams have had great seasons, and looking forward to match ups in the championship next year.

Thanks Gasman1, however I would be careful about throwing accusations of Barrow going out to deliberately to cause injury to an opposition! No spectator wants to see any player carried from the pitch and players (all who I know personally) would never carry out such and instruction; not that it would be given! Your comment smacks of sour grapes.
I hope that should you lose again you take it with a little more grace than you have in the play-offs. Next time you wish to "have a dig" please do not try to hide it behind a compliment.
Here is to a great day out and win or lose I will take it in good stead. (unless its the refs fault!!!)

I cant believe that Barrow deliberatley targeted Paul Cooke. It's not Darren Holts style of play.

I don't think any coach goes into a game without considering the opposition's most dangerous players, but to suggest that players are being sent out to deliberately nobble other players is ridiculous and sounds like sour grapes.
It is a hard game at times; players get injured occasionally (particularly those with a history of being injury-prone).
Your coach withdrew his hasty post-match accusations: No-one got cited: The player apologised for the unintentionally clumsy nature of the challenge and the apology was accepted by the injured player.
Yet STILL paranoid terrace pundits won't remove their conpiracy-theory, tin-foil helmets and accept that it was just one of those things.
I read some of the post-match comments from the Workington game and your lot are accusing players of "thuggery" and deliberately targeting the lad who had his nose broken. This against a side with 12 men who you've whitewashed.
The glass is always half empty with you lot, isn't it?
