I think the other 9 either failed criteria or were out of a suitable geographical area?

Does Britain's top guesser know the other 9?

Grow up I don't guess I state what will happen and you snipe then it happens. I knew 8 of the 9 on that list had applied but I hadn't heard of Barrow Island's.Does Britain's top guesser know the other 9?
It doesn't take a genius to work out that the NCL would have recommended a 10th club if there'd been another applicant they wanted.

Oh the NCL have always operated in a manner like this only putting recommended clubs to a vote. I don't know how this will work though will bottom of division 2 drop to division 3? What it Coventry are accepted to Championship 1?
On the face of it I'm happy with that lineup though and think those clubs would be a good addition. I'd personally like a list of all 18 applicants but I don't think it's a conspiracy.

Members of the NCL commitee vet all applicants not th RFL .I would have thought they would have informed the RFL which club,s they would recomend to it,s member,s to accept into thier league,s.Lengthy email from RFL stating the 9 new applicants

Many of the other applicants had their application transferred to a Conference South that may or may not be under the NCL brand name but will be tier 3. Though at least one (and probably more) of the failed applications was northern. Kippax would have been number 10 if they could raise a team, but they can't.Lengthy email from RFL stating the 9 new applicants

It looks like the NCL may recommend 1 club the RFL have sent the 9 mentioned out by email.
The NCL have had a professional administrator for over 15 years , based with the other RFL personnel , and now at Red Hall
The actual NCL members on these forums well know where most of their correspondence comes from , and who in fact generates it.
Trevor Hunt oversaw the e mail making the recommendations to the members , in sufficient time for the clubs to consult their committees before the vote. Confusing the messenger with the decision makers is a mistake often made - unless of course your'e trying to justify a thread title.....
As for the application process itself the NCL invites clubs to express interest in joining in good faith and in confidence . They are not about to publish a list of those they feel are not yet there just to satisfy the curiosity of some on here....it's a matter of decency as well as common sense....

Why would the RFL circulate an Email stating these facts if the NCL is controlled by the NCL committee, Hey the RFL supply and run the NCL website and the committee allowed it because it was "FREE", what is the excuse for the RFL sending emails that suggests they (RFL) are in total control of who, when and soon to be WHERE games are played.Members of the NCL commitee vet all applicants not th RFL .I would have thought they would have informed the RFL which club,s they would recomend to it,s member,s to accept into thier league,s.

I find it hard that the NCL committee really needed a professional advisor for the last 15 years, maybe it was just a way of having a finger in the pie, and why did Trevor Hunt have to oversee an email that was being sent by the RFL, or is that just one thats not part of the some? and surely he should have sent the email if the NCL Committee are in control? The NCL have had a professional administrator for over 15 years , based with the other RFL personnel , and now at Red Hall

It is now clear that you don't know how the NCL is run and by who The email sent out to member clubs was from the RFL because hasI find it hard that the NCL committee really needed a professional advisor for the last 15 years, maybe it was just a way of having a finger in the pie, and why did Trevor Hunt have to oversee an email that was being sent by the RFL, or is that just one thats not part of the some? and surely he should have sent the email if the NCL Committee are in control?
Del capo states the administrator of the NCL is paid by the RFL and has been for several years when the RFL offered to pay the NCL for the administrator it was voted and accepted by all the member clubs. so yes the email did come from the RFL on behalf of the NCL committee. This was sent out so the member clubs administrators can then take it to their commitee for discussion and then place their vote for or against acceptence of the recommended clubs so finally to answer your question The Member clubs and NCL management run the NCL Leagues and how they are run. To answer the question why didn't Trevor Hunt send out the email I would think that the reason would be because he is the Chairman of the NCL not the Administrator who's job it is to send information out to the member clubs. The NCL Clubs voted again several years ago pull out of Barla and go under the RFL banner this again was voted on by the member clubs. just like the Pennine League may do in a couple of years time when they want to take over the running of the winter game and withdraw from Barla. Will the clubs from the Pennine League get to vote on that one or will the committee just push it throught like they did the other year with the acceptence of the Yorkshire Leagues top clubs just to make their then poor standard top division a lot stronger virtually killing off the Yorkshire League.. So lets start another topic that you may know a little more about who runs the Open-age winter League. The Pennine League or Barla ????????

Hilarious Marauder!!
David Lowe for all that time and Carol Savage this year are really ' moles ' inserted by the RFL for as yet undeclared purposes......???....
Lucky for Barla then that when they asked for similar funding for their Administrator the RFL declined....they too could by now have been infiltrated beyond redemption... obvious faux pas by the RFL in their campaign for domination........
NCL committee have day jobs but that doesn't detract from how the League is run . Believe it or not the RFL do not interfere, nor would they dare to. .....And their people are more than helpful when required to do what is necessary to better this League.........
So when the Chair directs something to happen , it does.......
Boring I know Marauder...........
