We have Liam Harrison in for player of the year and Ryan Shaw in for young player of the year.

Town have Matty In for player of the year and Elliott miller and dave Peterson for young player.

I know I am not supposed to be controversial now that I am a Director but the nominees for Coach of the Year (Miller excepted) are an absolute joke.
Holty gets promotion and reaches GF in his first season in the hot seat and two coaches who didn't even make the play offs get nominated ahead of him.
I guess the person choosing the nominees is an expansion freak LOL.

they must have made the nominations before we beat donny to get to the grand final but I suppose those other coaches have done quite well after all they finished above south wales and gateshead :blink:

Well done Liam and ryan both are well deserved nominations....
I am really surprised not to see holty up for the coacing award and also thought dan toal was a good bet.
Irrespective of the awards the whole team, board and coaching staff get my vote and thank you for an entertaining season.

Is it not the case that the coaches nominate the coach of the year ? if so then no coach will nominate himself and maybe all voted the same way

The nominations for all categories are made by club coaches and they can't nominate themselves or any of their own team. Likewise in the voting they can't vote for their own.

Can't understand how payers who are attached to SL clubs can be nominated for players of the year in the Championship Leagues. Should be only for Full Championship players only.
