The RFL are pleased to be able to offer a range of free workshops to support Rugby League coaches to become better skilled in order to help encourage and improve players.
A recent survey found that 97 per cent of Rugby League coaches believe that it’s important to take part in regular, on-going training to develop their coaching skills and make sure they are able to provide the most up to date information available.
As a result, the RFL will be working closely with leagues to make continued professional development more readily available to coaches.
Vinny Webb, RFL Head of Coach Development said: “There are a variety of workshops, called STEPS, on offer meaning that coaches can select topics relevant to themselves and their players.
“We are always looking for new ways to help coaches develop and are delighted to be able to offer these continued professional development workshops free of charge until the end of 2012.”
For more information about how to book onto continued professional development workshops, upcoming courses and coaching in general visit: http://www.therfl.co.uk/coach
There are available spaces on a Level 1 course starting in Salford in November- anyone interested should call RFL Administration on 0113 201 5464 for information on how to book onto the course.
