Andy Ellis was recalled from his loan deal with us which meant he could not play in the NRC final but now Wakefields season is over does this mean we can now resume the loan agreement and utilise him in our 17 for duty at Warrington for the Grand Final. If so it would be a good aquasition to the team.

This is actually quite an interesting point. Hypothetically, if we loaned a player for the duration of the season, and that player was recalled by their parent club, but then not needed (as in the case of Ellis at Wakefield), could they then return to the club that had originally loaned them for the season??
I think in the case of Ellis though he was only loaned on a month by month basis...

Could be deemed the deal was terminated by the parent club

'terminated' or 'temporarily revoked'

He'll have missed the cut-off date, won't he ?

Make of this what you will, obviously, but somebody on the Wildctas forum has posted this this afternoon:
Gone.
Joined Featherstone Rovers.
Don't really understand it personally, but its obvious Agar dosent like him.
and Craig Poskitt has just tweeted this
Finally got the man we wanted
just putting two and two together here. Fingers crossed.

You have signed an absolute gem of a player and a person!
Thank god that Andy has finally got away from Agar who treated him like sh**e at best. I for one can't way for the day when Agar gets sacked - I'll have a few beers that night LOL. If he can treat Andy the way he did then he deserves to be lost to the game asap! Funny how Wakefield's recent winning streak coincided with Andy being back in the team isn't it. Yet it seemed to be lost on Agar.
Back to Mr Ellis - just wait until I see him (hopefully soon) cos I am gonna give him some stick for signing for one of our rivals.
Seriously, he stayed with me and my family when he played in god's country and is now like one of the family (he is godfather to my youngest grandchild).
You have no worries with his ability or his behaviour and I can assure you that you haven't yet seen the best of him in your colours. I just wish he'd signed for Barrow!

Speaking to many Wakey supporters, they all have a good word for the lad and cannot understand why he is being allowed to leave.
