Just back from seeing Ell. Head still banging, very very tired but in good spirits. Hoping that they'll let him home tomorrow

Delighted to hear that and it is good news. As a RL fan my heart sank watching him being treated on the pitch. I hope he makes a full recovery and is back to playing next season as he is no doubt a talented player.

And that comes from a Haven fan!!!! (we are not all deluded)

Just in case people haven't heard the news is that Elliott is being allowed home from hospital today. I'm sure he knows we are all thinking of him and sending best wishes for his recovery.

Here's to a speedy recovery.
I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.
