Oxford will join fellow newcomers Hemel Stags and University of Gloucestershire All Golds in the restructured competition and will play their home games at the University of Oxford’s historic Iffley Road Rugby Ground.
The club have also unveiled Tony Benson, who has previously coached Championship clubs Leigh Centurions and Oldham, as their head coach."
Tally ho, chaps.....you could be eating in the Bullingdon Club if you can befriend a few students or an mp or two.
Behave yourselves, now!

The RFL has essentially created a 'Southern Conference' - with us and Oldham in it.
The only positive for me is that Tony Benson has gone there to instil a losing mentality.

Would of thought you would be happy to return to athletic grounds... :-)Another 'club' playing out of a university sports ground (with an athletics track).

No it's not. Iffley Road rugby stadium is next to the athletics ground. Two decent stands, and has previously held RU tour matches (albeit in the "amateur era"). Probably has a capacity today of about 3,000, of which 1,200 + are covered seating. Earlier this year a rugby league friendly match at the ground got a crowd of 700.Another 'club' playing out of a university sports ground (with an athletics track).

The club where Eurovision isn't a dirty word. A waltz through the leopard skin lined world of Tom Jones, Bert Kampfert and Burt Bacharach. Step out to the sound of the happy hammond and swing to the seductive sounds of the samba.
DJ's, raffles, cocktails and wide collars. Please dress smart. Gentlemen might like to wear a suit.
Same price. Same music. Same rubbish prizes.

Oxford, isn't that one of the places they get out of the bath to have a pee? I suppose they have a chance to drop out before the start of rhe season yet!
Pugwash.
Yes but they'll concoct another thriving southern based team to take their place - anyone for fakenham?
