Scott Naylor confirmed on the the Club website. He is obviously eager to get on with the task and comes with a good pedigree, albeit his first opportunity to be head coach. Best of luck to him on his future with Oldham and I hope that the choice will be welcomed and supported by the fans as he gets on with building a squad for next season. :)

Yeah....not the big name experienced coach I'd hoped for to get us out of this league first time and create a bit of a buzz after last seasons disaster.

Nonetheless, all the best to him.

Seems to have a good playing pedigree,so should have learned from some of the best.
You can only work with what you have got though...
Should be a lot better season next year...now no Benson.

Good luck in the venture. All I ask is get the best out the players at your disposal and play good hard rugby league.

You have a new young coach who will be out to prove he can do the job and to some extent the pressure is off as 4 teams who could make life difficult have gone so that is 8 tough games he won't have to navigate. The comp is only going to have 9 teams in so out of the 8 other clubs remaining you have 3 new set ups, gateshead, 2 Welsh teams and Skolars all of whom you should have the beating of so that leaves Rochdale as your main rivals next season.
I wish him luck and will call in next season and see how you're playing under him
