I have watched this young lad since he was about 6 years old at Oulton Raiders. I believe all he needs is a coach to let him do his own thing. He has an abundance of skills but he seems to have been engineered into a player who is told to pass the ball and not try anything special. Given some licence he could flourish and don't forget he is still only a "young lad".

It's hard to judge if these 2 and also the likes of Olpherts could make the grade.

Due to the lack of a 2nd team the likes of Schoey and to a lesser extent Tebb have gone through a "full" season and only played a handful of games.
It's hard to judge if these 2 and also the likes of Olpherts could make the grade.
Olpherts left some time ago, and apparently stuart reardon has apparentley been linked with us, DTID said that so that isn't my imagination.

Says all the news what Toms give us this week plus, that were in talks with just 5 more of our current squad whov all been offered a contract by the club for next season( wonder which 5 of the remaining 8 of wainwright, scott, esders, spavin, harris, samuels, barlow and nicholson??) plus 4 from other clubs have been offerd contracts and that come the end of the month Morrisons hoping for a squad of around 24.
Says 3 other players were expected to talk with are Tommy Gallagher of Leigh and Makali Aiuzue of Halifax. Plus Ash Lindsay.
Wonder which 5 of the remaining 8 squad players Morrison wants to keep? My guess would be Esders, Nicholson, Spavin, Scott and Wainwright.
Wonder who the 4 players are from other clubs. Hope ones Bretherton??

brev signs for the dogs for 2013Interesting and good report in todays press with the interview with Jy mel Coleman. Morrison says hes guna let him play his game which will suit our expansive style next season and will be the xfactor for us and is a direct replacement for patch. Coleman also goes on to say how he feels he plays alot better in his game at 6 and was sort of messed around if you like towards the end of last season with Keighley, playing loose.Alot better paper than the reporter is the press.

I suppose somebody that could go the length of the field against the quicker opposition would be too much to hope for ?personally i hope a good loose forward a good centre a good full back and a decent scrum half with good pace and a good prop
