If I am right, there has been some talk of GM signing a few big names (probably my imagination playing with me), if it is true, and be realistic, who would we like to see?

Someone tried and tested at this level. I wouldn't like to see someone from sl dropping down we have a very poor record with this type of player for one reason or another.

He means that the northern rail cup was your first in 80 years, but the majority of your fans were saying that you were going to win trophies this year, be it one or the double, I know a few batley fans with that attitude

Firstly, you state a 'majority' of our fans were saying we were going to win trophies this year (an absolute untruth in itself), but you only know 'a few' with that attitude. Rrrrrrrright.
What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?

Be it an untruth, I have actually heard this come from batley fans before "we will win trophies", had it have been said this year, or last.

There's quite a few Batley fans post on the Batley forum, with opinions that are probably quite reflective of those fans that don't use the internet. When you've found the posts that state 'we will win trophies' - either before the 2010or 2011 seasons, then get back to me. Secondly - to back up your daft statement - when you locate these imaginary opinins, perhaps you could collate them into a statistic revealing that they represent a majority.

Always a good idea before making bizarre and unfounded statements. I look forward to seeing the results of your search. Remember, we're looking for opinions that state 'we will win trophies'. Toodle pip.

I certainly don't recall that, although it does seem to be true. Regardless, its not a fan opinion, and certainly not even close to saying that 'we WILL win trophies'. Do keep up.

He simply said there's no reason we couldn't win. It's a reflection of the belief at the club. The same belief that helped us win the northern rail cup. If we don't believe in ourselves we won't get nowhere. Maybe we should stop believing in our club and just be happy to fail at even reaching the playoffs. And while we do that we could still have enough arrogance about us to slate teams clearly doing a better job than ourselves on their success.
That must be where I've been going wrong these last few years. In that case I will say we have no chance of ever winning anything and our aim this season is not to be in the bottom three.
I'm not saying all dewsbury fans are like this. I actually think GOR and BSJ would make great bulldogs

I would honestly like to see both dewsbury and batley right at the top end of the table. It would be great for our area.
