I'm confused; is this the recognised Italians or the non-recognised Italians?

Either way, it is a very good video of Italians playing Rugby League, which is the main thing.

I've nothing against the Italians, its great to see but am bit annoyed that they knocked Lebanon out of the WC using heritage players who only partake in bigger games.

I know what you mean, and in a perfect world it would be nice to see the likes of Craig Gower running out everytime Italy play, but Lebanon started off by using heritage players from Sydney and look where they are today. There was a fair bit of criticism flying around about the make up of their side in the 2000 WC. If the Italians can build the game domestically on the back of their heritage players, good luck to them. The fact that there are 2 rival organisations trying to run the game in Italy is potentially more damaging.

Didn't the Lebanese use heritage players in the WC qualifiers but the Italians had a better standard of heritage player in their team?

I thought the WC qualifying squad for Lebanon was mainly local players?
I aren't trying to bag the Italians, it just sort of irks me. If I'm right about the make up of the players that is...

And these are the teams that played in the drawn game:-
ITALY 19 (18)
Anthony Minichiello, Josh Mantellato, Dom Nasso, Matt Parrata, Christophe Calegari, Ben Stewart, Ryan Ghietti, Alex Ranieri, Ray Nasso, Vic Mauro, Cameron Ciraldo, Joel Riethmuller, Ben Falcone Subs: Dean Vicelich, Rob Quitadamo, Ryan Tramonte, Rhys Lenarduzzi

Not much difference really. What really made the difference was Lebanon only putting 30 odd points on the Russians in the second game, while Italy were putting 50 past Serbia. In the first games, both sides had won by over 90 points.
