dont think the wire have a big fan base as some people would have us believe ,as u rightly said not a great turn out of warrington fans.who ever chooses who now is gonna be very interesting in the semis, personally it really doesnt matter play em now, think the club call is stupid anyway , look at last season picked leeds thought the job was done on selection and were made to suffer cos they thought leeds were the easy beats let see now if opinions have changed, and lessons learned play with fire and u get burnt ,ive always rated Briers, hes a master tactician barry and a great rugby brain, what he lacks in pace he makes up for in brains.Cant beleive the poor crowd last night, considering Hull took marvellous support the turn out by the Wire public looked pretty poor.

Don't think any of the play off games have attracted great support KOL even the mighty whinos could only manage 9k for their match against Wakey and they brought a fair few with 'em. Warrington's average Super League crowd is over 11k so for some reason about 4k didn't turn up last night. As for Briers, got to agree he's a master tactician, organiser and leader but think that his age may be against him for the national team

your probably right there gaz.Low crowds are simply because playoff games are not part of the season ticket deal
