Does anyone know who the large chap in the town hoody sitting behind the town supporters today?

He plays for Wakefield, was with thacks and calders. Was wearing a town hoody which I think belonged to one of the lads.

He looked a big lad! Town fan and wakey player class!! Hopefully do a bit of merging with them. Annakin had been class! Unfortunate today but it's the way it goes when the ref supports Doncaster

With regards the referee , he didnt give much to the Dons in the 1st half. Wouldnt mind seeing the shoulder charge incident on Craig Robinson( Thackery) who has a broken nose.

Come on now, in the 2nd half shacks stole a ball one on one, got up to play the ball and the donny player snatched it back. The refs decision... A shacks knock on at the play the ball. Oddest decision I've seen. Then annakin gets sent off for a tackle but the donny player who threw punches afterwards never got a word said to him. The ref was a liability to both sides and was the cause of any foul player later on by giving ridiculous decisions and wanting to be the centre of attention as usual

The sending off was at the instigation of the touch judge, all the referee did was show the red card!!!!! The same touch judge stood and watched the Doncaster centre (4) throw a punch at John Patrick 2 yards away from him and all he did was wag his finger at the Donny player and then walked up the touchline talking to him. There was no malice in the sending off incident and both players kept hold of the Donny player they didn't drop him as I have read in one report this morning. Thackray was the outstanding player on the field and his collision with Robinson looked like shoulder to shoulder from where I was sitting and it must have been seen that way by the officials as they gave a scrum, no penalty. Even with only 12 men Doncaster struggled to get out of their own half and Mr Leahy and his cohorts with the flags made sure that even when we did "score" they found a reason not to allow them.

Wonky , the ref did have a word with Danny Cowling for hitting out.
Hope Ryan Mcdonald plays next season always worth a laugh .

Yeh they might as well charge Thacks after the end of the season to put the cherry on the icing .. That would sum up their treatment of us this season. Why don't we just play tiddlywinks? The judiciary is a shambles and the banning of players a total lottery often based at our level on not much evidence and whether a players injured !
And Ryan McDonald's worth a lot more than a laugh to us .

Robinson was charging in just as hard as Thackray. Would we be having this if Thacks had come off worst laying on the ground with a broken nose? They were both intent on shouldering the other one way or another and Robinson came off worst, it could quite easily have been the other way round!!!

I half expected Annikin to get charged but how many times do we see the same tackle on SL go unpunished?

Double standards

On last weeks Leigh v Sheffield match on Premier Sports, QLT the Eagles full-back hit Greg McNally with a shoulder charge when McNally didn't even have the ball. Everyone of the commentary team and others were saying that he would probably miss the final because of that but surprise, surprise, given a caution as it was not clear where exactly his shoulder contacted McNally. Compare that with Thacks challenge on a player charging at him with the ball in his possession where the same review panel have said "Charge". You bet there is double standards.

As I say , I'm glad the courts of justice don't have the tolerance of guilt the RFL do ... Err let's have a look on that one dodgy camera . Ooh and that bloke looks injured ... Guilty , now what's for lunch ? Must be a descendent of General Anthony Cecil Hogmanay Melchett on the panel ...in the ripe tradition of the Flanders pigeon murderer .
