So what do you think of the Scott Naylor appointment?

Got the playing experience, give him a fair go.

He deserves a chance as head coach after serving an apprenticeship at Salford. Has a great playing record and is a grafter. Just hope he gets the support he needs from the club and the fans.

Beggars can't be choosers!
He can't do any worse than the previous incumbent.
I don't think I will be bothering next season though. Chances are there will be a much better standard of rugby to watch at the local amateur clubs!

Got to give him a chance would be my thoughts. Hopefully he will look to keep the main younger players from last season and, who knows, it Might be that he brings along a couple of young decent Salford players.

I agree we have to give the guy a chance for all we know he could be the breath of fresh air we need, he certainly has the playing pedigree and I would think good contacts.
It's a pity he as joined us now with such a shambolic league coming up.

How can anyone have voted inspired choice in the poll?
All we have heard is CH's comments on his coaching credentials.
He hasn't signed a player.
We haven't played a game.
To vote inspired choice at this stage is just ridiculous - if you took this voting option please explain how you can possibly have come to that decision (or are they just CH's usual "yes men"?)
And before anyone asks, my vote was - too early to tell.

Ignorance of his previous coaching experience at Salford is a poor excuse for lack of vision. Naylor will be a breath of fresh air and a far better appointment than employing the same old faces from the same old merry-go-round like Dave Woods. New, young coaches have to start somewhere and I applaud the Chairman for giving him the chance. The players seem to like the appointment too.

So he's coached at reserve grade - what did Salford win?
If so good why did he end up coaching some stiffs in union as opposed to getting a decent job in league?
What players are happy with the appointment - list them - we only have one signed on! If you know different tell us.
The question stands - how can it be considered an inspired choice?
