Folly Lane are currently looking to bolster their mini's and junior sections, which consist of cubs (4-6 years olds - nursery and reception), Newbies (6-7 year olds - years 1 and 2), 7's (Year 3), 10's (Year 6) and 11's (Year 7).

The teams are currently doing extremely well and we're looking to build on our recent performances with the help from new players. The club are actively looking to promote the game within the aream whilst giving a fun and health experience for all members, both new and old.

If you're interested, feel free to come down and take a look. Training sessions are:

Tuesdays @ 6pm @ Blue Ribbon Playing Fields, Fraser Street - Under 10's
Wednesday @ 6:30 pm @ Blue Ribbon Playing Fields, Fraser Street - Under 11's
Thursdays @ 6 pm @ Blue Ribbon Playing Fields, Fraser Street - Cubs, Newbies, 7's and 10's
Saturday @ 11 am @ Pendlebury Recreation Centre, Cromwell Road - Cubs and Newbies
Saturday @ 11 am @ Blue Ribbon Playing Fields, Fraser Street - Under 11's

Ha ha ha. Funny post. Out of those finals, how many have you won? Last 2 final we were in, we won! They might have been against you lot as well. How's your youth set up?

a quick update on Folly Lane minis group.
the under 6s (cubs) 7s and 8s have gone from strength to strength in our 1st full season and have a superb core of enthusiastic and loyal young players , parents and coaches but we are still on the look out for youngsters (and coaches!) to push us forward into the new season.
if you have kids or know of any parents with kids who are looking for their kids to get active and learn the basics of rugby league please get in touch with me or speedbump.

at the moment we are training on a Wednesday night at cleveley running track Blantyre Street, Eccles, Salford, Greater Manchester, M30 8HY. at 6pm -7pm

this is just due to our normal pitch at the blue ribbon in pendlebury cutting up a bit in this weather and lighting issues but when the clocks change again we will be back there.
Also we are still running the very popular session at Pendlebury recreation centre , Cromwell Road , Swinton , M27 9SZ. on a Saturday morning 11am-12.This is really aimed the younger aged under 6s and the new players in the under 7 age group and is a load of fun and games , running around with a rugby ball for an hour on a Saturday morning and is basically just ball handling and co-ordination skills and letting the kids burn off some excess energy and tiring the kids out!!!!!! We are averaging 30-40 kids a week so they must be enjoying it!
It would be great to see some little Lions down there!
