The club would like to announce the signing of Martin Aspinwall on a 12 month contract.
Aspinwall began his career at Wigan in 2001, and has also played at Huddersfield and Castleford before moving to Hull FC in 2011.
Centurions Head Coach Paul Rowley said: "Martin is a fantastic acquisition to an already strong squad."
"He can cover several positions and has a wealth of top flight experience. He is a Wigan lad and excited at the opportunity of helping Leigh in our push for Super League."
Leigh Centurions can also confirm the departure of Tommy Gallagher and Dean McGilvray who have been released by the club. Leigh Centurions would like to thank both players for their contributions to the club over recent seasons.

Make sure he's never short of a woolly hat and he'll do just fine for Leigh.

I'm still not sure what his best pozition is.Good player, always prepared to do his bit for the team and not a backward stepper when the going gets tough.

Shaun McRae speaking last Friday...
Ryan McGoldrick and Martin Aspinwall are the two remaining players out-of-contract, but have not been released as discussions regarding their future remain ongoing.
Contrary to speculation, forward Aspinwall is still a Hull FC player despite reports suggesting otherwise.
McRae also added, “In terms of Ryan and Martin, we continue to remain in contact with both the players and their agents as we finalise our squad for 2013.
“It’s not accurate that Martin has left the club and indeed remains in talks with us over his future and we expect to have a number of areas firmed up and completed over the next couple of weeks.”
