Adam Clay (born 7 October 1990 (ageĀ 21)) is an English professional rugby league player who plays in the Co-Operative Championship for Leigh Centurions. Clay joined the North Wales Crusaders on loan in 2012.[1]
Clay played his junior rugby for Leigh Miners Rangers ARLFC before joining the academy at Salford City Reds. Clay was named as Salford's Senior Academy player of the season in 2010 and 2011 saw him make his first team debut, scoring five tries in four appearances, including a double on his senior debut against Harlequins RL.
Clay joined hometown club Leigh Centurions prior to the start of the 2012 season.

Hope so. Maybe make Nixon think about tackling as well with more competition for his place.

Great signing for the club. Watched him make his debt for Salford, fast, enthusaiastic and a good defender as well. Looks like a powerful lad in both attack and defence. Hopefully he will be allowed to continue to form a centre/wing partnership with Wiper next season. Twiggy and Lowe on the other side for me now
