The live coverage is moving to Premier Sports Extra on Sky channel 430 to facilitate live coverage of both Grand Finals whilst the All-Ireland Hurling replay taking place on the main channel (428)
A six-hour celebration of Rugby League begins at 1.00pm with a review of the 2012 Australian NRL play-offs.
At 1.30pm live coverage begins from The Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington with the build up to the Championship One grand final between Barrow and Doncaster. That game kicks off at 2.00pm.
The Championship final between Featherstone Rovers and Sheffield Eagles begins at 4.30pm.
Between both live games highlights from the Conference final will be shown as well as coverage of the Co-operative Championships awards dinner taking place this evening in Leeds.
The full Premier Sports team of Dave Woods, Ian Ramsdale, Natalie Quirk, Brian Noble and David Woods will be in attendance.
Richard Webb, Operations Director at Premier Sports said: "We look forward to a very special event covering all that is great about Rugby League. The day will bring to a close a superb first season’s coverage that has been very successful both on and off the pitch. I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone involved in the coverage and wish all the finals teams well on Sunday the 30th September.”

It's not only about the teams in the final as we all know but good luck to all the players of Featherstone Rovers , let's finish the season off in style.

Which is Dave and which is David?!The full Premier Sports team of Dave Woods, Ian Ramsdale, Natalie Quirk, Brian Noble and David Woods will be in attendance.
I wonder how long before the complaints of being shifted to the other channel? It wouldn't be rugby league without them!

Dave Woods is the commentator, David Woods is the ex Cas coach (now Whitehaven I believe)
As for the switch, no complaints. PS is an Irish channel and the GAA games tend to take precedence. They always treat RL well anyway, I can't think of anyone else who showed the Canada v Lebanon/Jamaica/USA games for a start.

Not a criticism, just curious - I have Virgin Media rather than Sky so have no option of subscribing, unless I sign up for the streaming service. However, there would be little point doing this unless they show the championship games. They didn't show the Eagles - Leigh game and I haven't seen the Grand Finals listed, therefore I assume they don't stream champs games.

Picture quality leaves a lot to be desired for CC games but can't argue with the variety of content!
Not just the RL. I was watching the Gaelic Football final on Sunday and noticed a similar thing....sometimes. Tends to be fine for me most of the time.

I don't mind Gaelic games - I prefer hurling to football - but I wouldn't pay for it.

I paid for the RL but don't mind watching the Gaelic Footy. Possibly a hangover from my father who played hurling.

I understand that the big two in hurling are Kilkenny and Tipperary, with Cork not far behind. What I only recently discovered was that Kilkenny don't compete in the football.
