Signed for us at Batley - what are your opinions of him?
What we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law

A decent player, but didn't play much of last season for us, as John Clough kept him out of the hooking position. I'm a bit surprised that Batley have signed him, I'm not sure he's at that level you need to retain top four in the Championship.Hopefully , Kear will be able to improve him. Miles Greenwood on the other hand is going to be real addition to your squad, a real quality player, if you can keep him away from Subway and Pizza Hut!! ( sorry Miles  ).

I think he's got a great pass from dummy half. Decent player. Not sure he's good enough for you guys though

They label him as hooker/half back. Definately not a half back but decent hooker

Danny's contribution to Oldham over the past few seasons has been superb. Good hands, and not afraid to take on the middle. Sad loss, yet Batleys gain. Nice lad to boot as well.

I think thats a pretty unfair verdict on him. The times he was on the pitch, he played well. By his own admission, he's not a 6 or 7, but a 9. He's also a pretty decent lad with a wicked sense of humour. I wish him well at Baterlee, and hope he steps up well to the demands of that Division.

Fairly decent hooker with a bit of pace around the ruck.
His ball distribution is generally fairly slick, sometimes wayward but not often.
I'm not sure he's good enough for the step up but Kear will be a top coach for him

The times when i've seen him have some stinkers are generally when he was moved into the 7 role.

Good luck to him at Batley

If you summed the 17 players up on matchdays, Whitty would be up there with the 'performers', which in a struggling team at times, is hard to do. A very passionate player, who can deliver some great performances, and with him being under Kear, it can only help devleop him further. Good luck Danny.
