Correct. The NCL committee only visit clubs deemed worthy of consideration (I expect Kippax, Bristol, Northampton and if they didn't withdraw their bid Rylands got a visit). A phone call or letter explaining why they weren't considered would have been a nice gesture though.samsung just to answer one of your points i guarantee that all applicants did not get visited

Bowes How do you know who has visited where .....stop making guesses again.... i was replying to samsung ..... please keep your thought to yourself when you dont know and cannot possibly know . thanks
As ive been part of the audit team for the NCL, there would be no reason to visit Bramley due to the short fall of them meeting the minimum criterea.
They were known to not haveing a second team, youth or juniors, club mark, pitch shareing and non fullfillment of fixtures.

The NCL president mentioned on another thread some applicants weren't worthy of consideration, I'll take his word over yours. You've mentioned some clubs weren't visited, by that you mean Bramley. I've stated the very clear reason why. The fact that you can't comprehend that Bramley fail criteria badly is beyond me as it couldn't be more clear cut. As the committee are familiar with your playing facilities because of Stanningley they also didn't need to look at themBowes How do you know who has visited where .....stop making guesses again.... i was replying to samsung ..... please keep your thought to yourself when you dont know and cannot possibly know . thanks

Generally speaking in the past the non successful clubs have been informed why they havent been recomended and what they need to do to re-apply at a later date.

Stanley Rangers only got accepted the 5th year of applying IIRC and West Bank got rejected first time round (they were division 5 then, hence the rejection, when they later applied as division 2 champions they got accepted)Generally speaking in the past the non successful clubs have been informed why they havent been recomended and what they need to do to re-apply at a later date.

The point is it would have been nice to have had contact from the NCL instead of finding out on here,I think thats the most galling about it all, no chance to try and put our case to anyone as we have not spoken to anyone at the ncl management at all.

LONGMAN there is nowhere that mentions in the criteria that groundshare is a problem, as i eluded to before it has happened i believe in the ncl with 2 leigh clubs ? we failed to play 1 game in 2 years. Has no ncl team ever failed to fulfill a fixture ? i was looking at some scores from previous years and there are 24-0 scores in there, could be coincidence i know. we are working to club mark and there are other teams that have not got clubmark. we have got a affiliation with a junior team ( which is what it says on the ncl site) And we have no second team at the moment.

Speak to the Management Committe then, they are all friendly and approachable. They want more clubs in the league, they will advise you on how to get things right in your club for next time you apply

I agree if a club applies then the NCL mamangement should as least reply to say they are not recommending them and give reasons if they are rejecting the application

Most teams that have been admitted from lower leagues simply because they fulfilled the criteria soon fell by the wayside and the reason is simple, no one likes to take a good hiding everyweek and defeat after defeat soon takes it's toll.Stanley Rangers only got accepted the 5th year of applying IIRC and West Bank got rejected first time round (they were division 5 then, hence the rejection, when they later applied as division 2 champions they got accepted)

spidey you would have thought that they would have already contacted the chairman to clarify points before total rejection,i thought that would have been courtesy thats all, but to reject the bid with no discussion cant be correct
The NCL have to add a minimum of 9 clubs (RFL have said) so I suppose the NCL Committee have to wait until Wednesday (the acceptance deadline) before they can inform the unsuccessful clubs, this will give them the chance to add the best failed application to make the 9 clubs.

Not true. It would have been in the RFL's interest for the Coventry and Nottingham bids to have been rejected... The NCL wanted 9 clubs to make it easier to make up the numbers but there are ways round it. The NCL would have had 10 or even 12 clubs if there'd been more clubs they wanted so any club not accepting would on the face of it not be replaced at least under the current format.

Dont suppose you have any proof of the ###### you talk about. How would they add any team when the clubs voted on Moday about who would be accepted, you seem to never let the truth get in the way of what you type.

Some things are so obvious anyone can see. I bet noone from Bramley has even looked at NCL criteria or else they're very good at feigning ignorance.BOWES your not a soothsayer are you ,,,,,,,or the all seeing eye ...some much knowledge amazing
What I don't get is why Bramley believe they unique of all clubs have a divine right to not follow the rules. Rejected bids over the past couple of years include the likes of Drighlington and Bank Quay and I don't see them printing libellous press releases full of lies.

What in the press release is a lie and what is libellous please.
I dont expect to have a divine right to join any league but it would have been nice to get the chance to present document for next year with the plans that we had made thats all.

I suppose ms the latest club acceptance if Drig got knocked back, they must fulfill the criteria unless they got knocked back because their clubhouse is a very short walk away from their pitch/park (Yes I've played there as well).......................................................but MilfordsSome things are so obvious anyone can see. I bet noone from Bramley has even looked at NCL criteria or else they're very good at feigning ignorance.
