How long can these Cumbrian teams carry on dishing out the cash until it goes belly up...?! I know it says "the clubs vice presidents" have funded this but he lives in Leeds so there must be a massive financial benefit there, same for rooney, thackray and calderwood etc

what makes you think a 33 year old average prop will have cost a lot of money?

they have a lot of sponsorship in cumbria and get more fans than hunslet so that must be one thing.

He will be on big money no doubt, lets hope their bigger crowds than ours can sustain his contract money through 2013

He's just finished playing in sl this year, he's not gonna be messing about going to cumbria 2 to 3 times a week for peanuts?!what makes you think a 33 year old average prop will have cost a lot of money?

1k a week in football league 1 & 2 is now classed as good money, so in super league or championship it is good money
