I think Glens comment re the Sheffield game is spot on. I thought he was superb in a beaten team and stood out every time he got the ball and in defence.

There will , i believe be quite a few more announcements over the next week or so . we will have to be patient until the pen has been in action .

Gallagher's CV makes this seem a very good signing.

We will need some good tacklers next season, because say what you want about Patch going he did more than his fair share in that department every week.

I won't grow too used to seeing Tommy in Red Amber and Black though. He doesn't seem to let the grass grow under his feet.

Just had a thought!

Experienced player, forward, reputation for being a fierce tackler.

Another Gary Cox?

Wouldn't that be something!

(I know Cox is spelt wrongly but the system doesn't like the proper spelling)

Rated highly by us Leythers. You have got a good one there. Lot of us sorry he wasn't offered a new contract.

If, as is the fashion, you use Gallagher as just another bulldozer, he will be ok. If, however, he is allowed to play football then he could be a key signing for you. He's well remembered at Batley for a particular game against Leigh. With no half backs available we expected a pasting from a good Leigh side. Preece played stand off and Tommy scrum half. Gallagher took the game by the scruff of the neck to create an unexpected Bulldogs victory.

Firstly, I trust he's moved on a bit since 2005

Secondly, how sad life must be in New Zealand

We'll bulk him up, turn him into the best prop since artie beetson, and then fev will resign him for 2014. or batley :o . Actually it would be a good move, because if akaidere is going to be one of the wingers, we'll need somebody to stand in the corner to defuse the bombs.

I never rated him either. Even when he was at Batley.
