I would just like to warn fans travelling to the Grand Final on Sunday with small children NOT to take pushchair with them. The rules of the Halliwell Jones Stadium forbid pushchairs in the ground and whilst babes in arms are welcome at the match they will not be allowed to sit in a pushchair. I have had this checked out and it is 100% correct.
I guess it is the rule, and I do understand the need for Health and Safety rules, but I find it astonishing that a modern purpose built stadium is not child-friendly. At Craven Park we have an area set aside for pushchairs and also prams so why a so-called modern stadium cannot cope is beyond me. Indeed we actively encourage fans to bring their small children with them to Craven Park. Perhaps the RFL need to rethink their choice of venues for big games such as this.

We may be poor at Barrow but we make sure everybody is accommodated on match days!

All my normal family group will be attending, including 15 month old Cavan, but if he gets tired at any point then sod him – the RFL and the HJ Stadium are not going to make it easy for him to get comfortable and get his head down.
Family sport my @rs3.

Seriously, all fans should check the rules relating to the ground on Sunday (on the Raiders website) and make sure they are fully aware of all the big-brother stuff so that their day isn’t spoilt when they get there.

Whilst I am on the subject of the HJ Stadium I would personally strongly advise fans to make sure they have eaten before entering the ground. In 2009 when we were last there the lunatics in charge ran out of food in our section half an hour before kick off and the oh so pleasant stewards refused to let me move to another area to get some (albeit that would have been futile cos they had all run out of grub anyway).

How did you guess Mike LOL. Seriously it is ridiculous though when CP is not deemed to be up to scratch in so many ways. I am thinking of launching a Development Fund for Warrington LOL.
