IMO the community board was the divide and conquer of BARLAAnd there is the problem we have too many people making decisions which do not benefit the players, thats what I thought the community board was set up for, to ensure the needs of the game become paramount obviuosly not when we have these clash of dates fecking madness .

Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.<div align='center'></div>

Regional players know they have been overlooked for years and I've often wondered whyhavent said there isnt, just question why none are there in that above team yet barla are winter based and ncl is summer based. why havent any from the winter based pennine league or any winter based league for that matter been selected.

Load of poo, why should BARLA (Take a look when the RFL Community Lions are touring) revolve everything around the NCL, This problem only became a problem when you jumped into bed with the RFL and has it's been stated they arn't really first class organisers are they.
This problem has been going on for many years.
Even when the NCL was known as the BARLA league they still arranged county games in then middle of the season.

Some of the better NCL yorkshire players are on tour for the English Lions in Canada so cannot be involved. Is it notable that all bar one NCL player in the Yorkshire squad is from Hull? Or is this more a reflection of playing standards?

So why was an important tour booked to co-incide with a very major part of the year for the NCL?

The last three champions of the NCL don't have a player in either the Community Lions or BARLA squads between them. Now either they have all been good sides with average players or the selection processes are wrong. But I suppose that is a debate for another thread!

If you've never noticed, if the coach for the BARLA side came from Lancs the side was heavy with Lancs, if he was a tyke it was heavy with Yorkists and a cumbrian always favoured his own.The last three champions of the NCL don't have a player in either the Community Lions or BARLA squads between them. With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!
