It then gives you plenty of time to get to the Stobart Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford ‘The Theatre of Dreams which is three tram stops away from the venue.
BARLA Great Britain Lions Head Coach gave his thoughts on the and the forthcoming clash, “We are looking forward to playing really we have trained hard and wsell over the last few months. We were patchy when we played the Army last month, looking atthe tape we looked good at times but we just want a bit more consistency.
“The squads changed a little bit from when we first startedfrom a squad of twenty six to which with injuries whittled it down to twenty two so now we are just looking forward to playing the game now really. We are looking atht egames the South Sydney Juniors are playing against the Three Counties and anybody who impresses coukld make their way into the squad. What we are looking for is building a squad over the next twelve months which we can refine and become a major force.
“Any side that comes out of Australia is a good side because thry have more rugby players in the Penrith area than the whole of Great Britain. So they are going to be a good side and have already beaten Yorkshire. I will be at the Cumbria and Lancashire games over the next week to assess them.”

Surprised there's no Barrow Island & Millom lads in this squad, especially after just helping to destroy Sydney ?
