Need a quick turnaround, Barrow been very poor, what does Nixon do? All wingers these days take the ball in, to rest the forwards, he has been a passenger for 70 mins.

Ref was awful an so were barrow. One man rugby does not win games. If kaighan plays next year then I won't be watching. He was in as a kicker, enough said, I think we would be better letting butler kick

agree with you mate . ref was cr----p today but what do you expect with jamiie leay. he kept donny in the game first half and barrows second half performance let them back in . should have beeen 20 points infront first half . i know we go on about the footy but officials in the game of rl have to much say in the results, off side for most of first half. . game on telly and nooooo big screen . this is part of the game when minnows of the game get to this level and it is now where to be seen . poor show by the rfl imo. the raiders will learn from this exploit and im sure will come back stronger but on the look of the second half show i think we need to sign on a couple of seasoned pros for next season. its gonna be a long season next year , 26 games and we need depth and quality now and im sure holty and acky know where to improve as we all do. well lads on this season tho boys. see you next season .

The whole squad will need to be 20% bulkier, stronger, faster and have more nous.
This squad can push themselves to be fitter, faster & stronger, many have enjoyed their 1st semi pro season and will have benefited enormously for the experience & gained some nous, add a few experienced Cumbrians & a "few" Out of towners but keep the main core Cumbrian.
Would players like Brett Mc, Ollie Wilkes, Gardner & other of their ilk be available, would Leeds let young Singleton get 1st team game experience, Shawy again maybe etc
Also a few more young & hungry amateurs from W & S Cumbria.
But coming from our financial disadvantages IMHO we should be sensible & as were not really expecting to seriously challenge for honors, don't overspend trying too as the club are not ready, it would be (again IMO) more sensible to build a squad ready to seriously challenge in the near future after the club have had a few seasons to consolidate and keep up with the ground infrastructure improvements

its a catch 22 Mick....if we get some major hammerings next year the crowds will fall off so do we spend a little to compete or hang fire to finish just above the relegation berths (hopefully) ?
Raiders have risen from the ashes
