A depleated Walney side were turned over by a strong Dalton team. The first 25 mintues was nip and tuck with Dalton holding a 2-0 but the introduction of 2 first team players turned the game in Dalton's favour with a 3 try blast in a 5 minute spell, Walney pulled one a try back just before half time. Dalton scored early in the second half but Walney responded and there were no further scores until the last 10 mintues when Dalton ran in a further 2 tries.
I have no doubt If Dalton first team had played then the score and probably the result would have been different.
