Well done to sheffield how they keep them 3 overseas players i dont know but they always come good in big games, as for fev it seems if you stop finn playing his "A" game they are beatable.

Come on we got beat on the day by a better team but you think keeping finn quiet keeps us quiet
We have briggs,kain and hepworth who IMO are better with the ball in hand than finn and ellis next season.Dont get me wrong finn is decent but hes not what were about at all.Finn is good at goal kicking but our main ball handlers IMO are briggs,hepworth,kain and ellis when he arrives.

Yep, well done Sheffield Eagles, they really got into Featherstone's faces and to be honest, made them run out of ideas in that final twenty minutes. Much is made of the Eagles overseas contingent but Turner, Higgins and especially Knowles were excellent yesterday.
Congratulations also to their near neighbours on a rare South Yorkshire "double" yesterday.

Q L T signed for another three years - despite the advances of NO super league clubs to sign him. 35 tries this season ain't bad eh??
Give Tubby his due he signs specific and quality players like Knowles, Higgins and Turner who always come really good for him. Funnily enough none of them mentioned in the Co-Op awards - a big two fingers to the rest of the league and RFL.
Well done Eagles - should be held up as a model for all clubs - instead of being plagued by the RFL trying to suppress them.
Fev just ain't got that trophy winning mentality and passion on the big day.

To be fair Robin Hood Hawk. That's hardly true to say Fev ain't got the winning mentality on the big day. Did they not beat Sheff last season in the Grand Final. Then I thought they won it the year before that, and they have won the league the last 2 or 3 seasons. Plus beat Cas this year in the Challenge cup too.

Forgot to say well done to Sheff, I could not see the match through work commitments, but it must have taken an almighty effort on their part to beat Fev.

One win in the last Five finals Iggy - not a good haul.
Its a shame because they are run so well off field and have true ambition - a better run club than their two closest neighbors - Wakey and Cas.
The Final was an excellent and exciting game played under awful conditions on a field that had already had two games on it that day. Very little by way of mistakes and errors and some spectacular tries says that both teams were excellent.

They topped the table in the last three years. Lost to a golden point dg in 2010, won in 2011, lost in 2012. Well beaten in this year's NR Final as well.
