Well what a 12 months it has been for me with Barrow Raiders. I have met some fantastic people, players and staff. It has been a pleasure (most of the time) being involved with the club and I was so emotional yesterday; not because we lost but because I looked around at all the fans, the dedication of the players and thought "yes that is what it is all about".
Thank you all for an amazing 12 months.

Olddon not to be confused with oldondon in peace we made many friends with you wonderful barrow supporters after the game having a drink and a bit of banter made the the day even more special for me , there was nothing between the teams and the two best teams contested the final and worthy of it , footy fans would be kept apart not in rugby league though its a special game with special fans thanks for a good game and plaudits special thanks to you the fans of barrow all the best for next season

Cheers olddon I said Donny were the Champions after the end of the league campaign and you proved it yesterday well done to everyone at the Keepmoat. Looking forward to renewing battles with you next year. Have a good off season !

It's been a cracking year for Barrow R.L.F.C on and off the field. Everybody involved with the club in any way shape or form deserves a massive pay on the back. Looking across to the terraces yesterday and the Raiders fans were packed in and in full voice. Glad I was in the stand I think my ears would of bust had I been among it all. It was nice to sit and soak up the atmosphere.
Oh well 3 1/2 months or so till the Raiders will play again. Gutted.
Roll on the 2013 season.
