In todays League Express JK says he wants two or possibly three more signings to complete the squad. I wonder who they might be?

In Kear we trust, but I'd like to see us sign 2 or 3 more props and maybe a bit more cover out wide too. I might have missed it, but have Brown, Scott or Walker signed yet? With more games this time, I'd have thought a bigger squad might be the best way forward this season. We looked like the walking wounded at Sheffield in the last game and some of those guys must have been carrying knocks before we kicked off.

Heard at the weekend Brown has left to go to Australia for a year. Not sure how true it is.

I have also heard this rumour.

It says in League Express Potter has resigned now aswell, so thats another prop on board.

In the League Express it says three more or even two. But one of those 2/3 has been taken up by Leary now, so it`s 1 maybe 2!!
Does this take into consideration the potential loss of Lindsay and Walker (injury) or if they leave will he bring in direct replacements for these 2 and Scott potentially.

Unless these 2 players are of real quality, I think I`m slightly worried at the depth and quality of our squad.

Don't panic - apparently there's going to be dozens of top quality SLplayers released now that the under 20's comp has been disbanded.

The strange thing is on the other post which lists players who have signed for next season there is only 11 of the current squad listed, with Potter to be added. There are eight signings from other clubs also listed but this only makes a total of 20, which if JK is only going to add 2 or 3 max would leave us a bit thin on the ground IMO.

Going by this we need another Winger for sure.

A squad of 24 seems about right though, especially with the Dual Reg system an option when the season starts. I know we had a few more this year but a fair few fell away without really featuring much....both Willams's, Frodsham, Mills, Henderson, etc.

From this years squad the ones we don't know about yet are:

Lindsay - plenty of rumours
Scott
Walker - depends on health
Henderson - released?
Palfrey - released?
Brown - rumoured to be going to Hull KR or Oz
Liam Walmsley - has he actually signed for 2013?

Another prop and a couple of three quarters for cover for me.

I don`t see Alex Walmsley playing for us much next season to be honest.

Id personally move heaven and earth to keep Ash after the storming second half of the season he had.

Add to that, If Alex Walmsley gets a regular spot at Saints we need another 2 props, as Smith and Potter made little impact IMO last season.

Jury is out on this Whitmore kid, so id like to see us sign an experienced half back to put pressure on Black and Moore, as an injury to one of those two and we are going to struggle for ideas in attack.

Another winger or 2 and like has been said earlier, a ball playing back rower too and we'll be something like.

think Byron played really well,seemed to lose concentration when the captain was off,both baz and potter give there all,wouldn't say didn't have an impact
