Biggest game of my life - Can't wait for Saturday
Leeds are the Champions, the champion side and recently in finals Warrington have the beating of them.
I'm so happy we've made the GF anything else is a bonus - Like I've said since joining this forum.
Can Warrington win?? Yes they can - Leeds 15 Warrington 23
Best wishes to all Leeds fans on here.

Wigan have already won the league. What's this match for?
Or to put it another way: Wire by 6.

wire to win by 10, over the season they have been outstanding and thoroughly deserve their place in the final, as for leeds playing well in 3 games shouldn't be enough to call them the champions
"Why is Napoleon crying ?" said one sailor to the other, "poor ###### thinks he's being exiled to st helens" came the reply.

If it's a tight, low-scoring, defenses-on-top game then Leeds to edge it.
If it's an open game with plenty of free-flowing attack, then Wire by 12 or so.

Wire to win as a fitting swansong for Morley, Briers, Hodgson and co. Desire and talent to beat know how and tenacity.

Only in the Challenge Cup, and everybody beats us in the final of that! Grand Final is a different story though...recently in finals Warrington have the beating of them.

Recent finals have been good rather than great. I'd like to see a classic.
Failing that, a real cliff-hanger.
Good luck to both teams.

Really looking forward to this one and would have been a lot more confident of winning if it were Saints.
Just hoping for a good close, hard fought game with no dubious penalties to get my blood pressure up.
BTW Derby City is taking two full coaches to the match. The game is very slowly taking hold in the Midlands!!

I went for 'Warrington Wolves by 1 to 6 points'.
Warrington by 1 point, a Briers drop-goal. Something in the teens; 17-16, 19-18 that sort of score.
Briers' Harry Sunderland winner.

Warrington to win,the ABL's to run out of kleenex.
.
Leeds have had two tough games leading up to the final. Warrington seemed a bit subdued in their games.Hoping it's going to be a classic, good luck to both teams.

Not sure Wire looked subdued on Saturday, I thought the way we turned around a game that was going against us was tremendous.Warrington to win,the ABL's to run out of kleenex.

As I think Brian Noble said, Saints were very good, Warrington were excellent.
As for the game, can't call it. It is setup very nicely, Wire having the Cup Final experience and two wins over Leeds in recent years, with Leeds having loads of Grand Final experience - it really is set up to be a cracker!

Subdued compared to pre playoff games.Just seemed to be that little spark missing .Not sure Wire looked subdued on Saturday, I thought the way we turned around a game that was going against us was tremendous.

I thought there was in the first game certainly. In the 2nd game I thought we just won the arm wrestle and did it the hard way, certainly nowhere near as fluent in attack as we can be, but credit to Hull for their defence.Subdued compared to pre playoff games.Just seemed to be that little spark missing .
In the third game, some of our attack was back to it's very best. Some of the link play was excellent, particularly the build-up to Grix's try - and we did this whilst achieving an 83% completion rate, which is some going.

As a Wire fan, the thing I will be watching with great interest is the team selection.
Mike Cooper has been one of the best players in the playoffs for us, and to drop him now would seem incredibly harsh, but then Carvell is a quality player.
I suspect that the rest of the team picks itself.

I think TS has already admitted he has a selection problem in either keeping Cooper in or selecting Carvell, plus the option of selecting Mcarthy. As a Wire fan, the thing I will be watching with great interest is the team selection.
