YORKSHIRE TEAM NAMED FOR CENTRAL COAST CENTURIONS

The BARLA Yorkshire County Under 17’s team to play the Central Coast Centurions Under 17’s team on Wednesday 3rd October at 7.30pm at the Tetleys Stadium, Dewsbury Rams RLFC has been named.
The players will be taking their first steps onto the BARLA International pathway as the whole squad will be playing for places in the BARLA Great Britain Under 17’s side to face the Central Coast Centurions at Sale RUC on Saturday 6th October.
It’s the final game against the ‘Three Counties’ for the Central Coast Centurions with them having a 100% record having defeated Lancashire and Cumbria so Yorkshire will be looking to down the Central Coast Centurions to their first defeat of their four match tour.
The climax of the Central Coast Centurions tour will take place with a BARLA International double header at Sale RUC, Heywood Road, Sale Manchester on Saturday 6th October.

The BARLA Great Britain Emerging Lions play the Central Coast Centurions at 12 noon followed by a ‘Mini; War of the Roses before the BARLA Great Britain Lions plays the South Sydney Juniors kick off 2.00pm. Admission £5 adults £2 concessions.

It then gives you plenty of time to get to the Stobart Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford ‘The Theatre of Dreams which is three tram stops away from the venue.

BARLA Yorkshire County Under 17’s Mike Johnson, “The boys have trained hard and it was a hard task to name the twenty players. They go into the game wanting to be the first county to down the Centurions colours and they are all aware that they will be in the shop window. Immediately after the game the BARLA Great Britain Emerging Lions selectors will be picking the national side to face the Centurions in a Test match on Saturday.”
