Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have been fined £1,000 after an independent Operational Rules Tribunal found them guilty of misconduct following a Stobart Super League game fixture against Castleford Tigers on April 6, 2012.

The fine, which is suspended until the end of 2013, was imposed after the club was deemed to be in breach of the following RFL Operational Rules in the way it handled crowd disturbances:

· D1.8© (conduct prejudicial to the interests of the game/improper conduct)
· D1.10 (a) and ( B) (safety/misconduct of spectators)
· RFL's Respect Policy

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have indicated that they will not be appealing the decision.

Just some dickhead Wakey fans getting out of hand. The usual bunch of 15 year old kids thinking it was hard, and sad, thick 40 year old blokes who wish they were still 15.

Real shame and those pillocks let Wakey down that day.
